South Down’s Way Mountain Bike Challenge

South Down's Way Mountain Bike Challenge

Access Security Products are please to be sponsoring Men’s Mind’s Matter annual fund raising event

Since 2009, Men’s Minds Matter has been actively campaigning to raise awareness of male suicide  issues faced by men and boys and this year on 27th May 2017, Jim Foster managing Director of Access Security Products will take part in a South Down’s Way Mountain Bike Challenge to raise money for Men’s Minds Matter

Described as a right of passage in mountain  biking circles, the South Downs Way covers 100miles of off road terrain, climbing 12000ft

Day 1 will test the endurance of the riders as they clock up the 1st 60miles starting from Winchester

Day 2 maybe a shorter distance but the climbs are more challenging as the riders navigate the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head, a place where so many lives have been unnecessarily lost to suicide

You can follow Jim and the other riders before, during and after the event on Facebook at  https://www.facebook.com/events/193654234443361/

Message from Dr Luke Sullivan

“So far, Men’s Minds Matter has been possible through the kind contributions of passionate people, including those with lived experience of mental health issues, psychologists and others. All of our staff are volunteers and your kind donations – no matter how large or small – in support of the Mountain Bike Challenge will help cover basic costs and progress these new projects. Suicide is preventable and with your support we hope lives can be saved”.
